Some frequently asked questions about our Holiday Let accommodation. If you can’t see your question below, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01865 882644 or email enquiries@wortonpark.co.uk

  • Check in is from 15:00 and check out is 10:00. Due to a strict housekeeping schedule, we are unfortunately unable to offer an early check in or a late check out.

  • The week of your arrival, after the damage deposit is paid, you will be sent the check-in information for the property. This will include a key safe code in order for you to gain access to the house.

  • There is ample parking at Worton Park, Thrupp, Woodstock Manor and Hillcrest.

  • EV charging is available at our main site, Worton Park. Both Farmhouse and Stable Cottage are based here, so guests staying at these properties can conveniently charge their electric vehicles on-site.
    Guests staying at Hillcrest, Woodstock, or Thrupp cottages will need to drive to Worton Park to use the chargers. With the pool and tennis court also located on-site, it’s the perfect opportunity to top up your car while enjoying the facilities.

  • We do allow dogs at a charge of £65 for one and £85 for two. Please note, Dovecote is only suitable for one small dog. If you wish to bring dogs with you, this must be agreed prior to your stay with the Farm Office.

  • Absolutely, bed linen and towels are supplied in all properties.

  • Yes, we supply hairdryers in all of our properties.

  • Yes, we have an iron in each of the properties.

  • Wi-Fi is available in the communal areas of all houses for general use and browsing. We cannot be responsible for any internet downtime due to supplier technical problems.

  • One travel cot and one highchair are provided per property on request. Please note, no bedding is provided for the travel cot.

  • Absolutely, we know that Ocado, Sainsburys and Tesco deliver to our properties. Remember to get a delivery slot for after you have checked in at the property, as we are unable to assist in taking deliveries.

  • Remember the pool is seasonal so please do ask us if it is available, however ordinarily it will be opened for use in early May and closed end of September.

    Timings are as follows:

    Mon - Fri: 07:00-08:30, 13:00-14:00 and 17:00 until dusk

    Saturday: Dawn until dusk

    Sundays: Closed

    Please note that the pool is closed on Sundays and is reserved for owner use only on this day.

    Please be aware that this facility may sometimes be unavailable, whether this is for unscheduled cleaning/maintenance caused by guest misuse, or for private-use, so its availability is never guaranteed. In these instances, we will always endeavour to notify guests accordingly wherever possible.

  • The tennis courts are open seasonally, usually May - September.

    Use of the tennis courts is on a first come, first served basis (pun intended!) although please be considerate to other holiday let guests. A recommended session is one hour.

  • Yes, you will need to bring your own charcoal and lighting fuel. We do supply BBQ utensils.

    Please note that if you are booking a property between November and April and wish to use the BBQ, you will need to request this in advance.

  • Unfortunately, the use of candles is strictly prohibited in all of our properties.

  • No, we do not allow fireworks, as Worton Park is a working farm and we need to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both our animals and guests.

  • The pool and tennis court are based onsite on Worton Park.

  • Yes, we do! We include a selection of our favourite local spots and activities in our welcome packs recieved upon booking.

  • Yes! Worton Park is set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, surrounded by beautiful walking routes overlooking lakes, fields and woodland. We’ve also created a selection of curated walks starting from each of our holiday cottages, including routes around Blenheim Palace in Woodstock and along the Oxford Canal. One of our guests even hiked all the way from our Thrupp holiday cottages, following the canal path into Oxford totalling 13km!

  • Absolutely! We can provide you with a list of trusted local chefs and caterers upon booking.

  • Public transport in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire countryside is quite limited, so we do recommend having a car during your stay. It makes it much easier to reach us, explore nearby villages, and enjoy everything the local area has to offer at your own pace.

  • Yes, taxis are available locally, and we include a list of trusted taxi companies in our welcome packs. We recommend booking in advance, especially during busy periods or evenings, to ensure availability.

  • Yes, absolutely. Several of our properties are located close to one another, making them ideal for larger groups or families staying together. Our Thrupp houses‍ (The Manor, Coach House, and Dovecote) are situated in a private courtyard, as are our Worton Cottages (The Farmhouse and Stable Cottage). It’s a perfect setup for guests who want space and privacy while still being nearby.
