Christmas at Worton Park
Christmas is always such a lovely time of the year on the park! Our holiday lets are decorated, Christmas trees stand proudly on the park and in Worton Hall, Offices are decorated by our tenants, all while being surrounded by a lovely wintery environment, the whole park feels wonderfully alive with seasonal spirit.
Around the Park:
The first sign of Christmas coming is the arrival of colder weather rolling in. Those frosty mornings paired with later sunrises adding a winter glow always make for the most beautiful sight on the park. The crunch of frosty grass and fallen leaves underfoot, the sight beautiful sunrises and sunsets and maybe even some snow are simple joys that never lose its charm.
Adding to the festive spirit, the park is once again proudly displaying its annual Christmas tree. It’s a wonderful centrepiece that brings a little extra magic to the season. Twinkling fairy lights wrapped through some of our trees add a glow throughout the grounds, creating a welcoming atmosphere as daylight fades.
Our tenants also join in the festive fun by decorating their own offices. Some of our favourites this year include cheerful window displays using festive stickers and spray-snow, beautifully decorated trees, and sparkling lights that brighten up the park.
Holiday Cottages:
Our holiday cottages are always extremely popular over the Christmas and New Year periods. They are the setting for so many celebrations and each is decorated with its own Christmas tree adding a lovely festive feel. Our holiday cottages all have ample crockery and utensils for Christmas dinners and relaxing by the log burner after the meal makes a great centrepiece for socialising with family.
There is also so much to see and do while staying with us. Seasonal highlights include Christmas at Blenheim, which features a Christmas market, ice skating, a light trail around the grounds, and themed decorations in the palace. Oxford shines in December. The city comes alive with sparkling lights, late-night shopping at the Westgate, and a vibrant Christmas market. Throughout the local area, you’ll also find numerous Christmas markets perfect for picking up unique gifts, sampling seasonal treats, and soaking up the festive atmosphere.
Worton Hall:
The magic of Christmas on the park is nowhere more evident than in Worton Hall as they host fanatsic Christmas parties an even Christmas themed weddings round this time of year! The eye catching Christmas feature is definitely the 12ft Christmas tree which weaves between the fairy light canopy which sets the perfect scene for all the celebrations to come.
This year, we unveiled our brand-new Christmas Party Package, designed to bring all the elements of your dream festive vsion to life in one package. Including a DJ and dancefloor to delicious catering options, and selcion of optional extras like welcome drinks, photobooths, magicians, carnival games, and even casino tables!
We’re fully booked for Christmas 2025 but we hope you’ll join us in 2026.
