Our 2026 Worton Park Macmillan Coffee Morning

September is always a highly anticipated month on the park, with the return of our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. We can’t believe it’s been just over a month since the big day!

This year, we wanted to go bigger and better than ever, with even more fantastic raffle prizes, fun and unique games, as well as delicious cakes made by our team and park tenants!

In the week leading up to the coffee morning, our team and tenants across the park put on our experienced (or not-so-experienced!) chef’s hats and try our hand at baking some delicious cakes and the results did not disappoint.

We also mixed up the games, bringing back some old favourites, like the Five Ball Roll Up, alongside some new challenges, including mini golf and soft archery competitions, all kindly donated by a local Scout group for the event. Instead of our Name the Fish challenge, we introduced a Name the Reindeer challenge. The coveted prize was a wooden reindeer handcrafted by one of our farmhands who its turns out is called Babs!

Our raffle also returned, and once again, we were blown away by the generosity of local businesses who kindly donated a fantastic range of prizes. From theatre tickets, ice cream and coffee vouchers, massages and beauty treatments to brewery tours, wildlife park tickets, confectionery, bottles of fizz and so much more, there was something for everyone. You can check out all our prize donors using the links below.

It’s always so lovely to see so many of our park tenants, local businesses and members of the community we interact with day by day. The coffee morning has such a lovely atmosphere and is a great opportunity to catch up and see each other in a different light.

We’re thrilled to announce that we raised a record-breaking total of £1,548 for Macmillan Cancer Support!

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated prizes, helped organise the event, played the games and came along to support us. We couldn’t have done it without the incredible generosity of our Worton Park community and the local businesses who got involved.

Raising a record-breaking £1,548 is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it’s wonderful to know that the money will help Macmillan continue to support people living with cancer.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s coffee morning, but for now, thank you for helping make this year’s event our biggest and best yet!
