A Heartfelt Thank You for Joining Our Macmillan Coffee Morning

Last Thursday, the Worton Park team had the absolute pleasure of hosting our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning in the farm office for our park tenants and local community.

Guests joined us throughout the day to enjoy delicious cakes, take part in our fun games, and of course, try their luck in the much-loved raffle. One of our favourite parts of the morning is always seeing the wonderful variety of bakes that appear. Some highlights from this year included a homemade coffee and walnut cake, butterfly cakes and bacon and cheese turnovers.

This year we had 4 unique games on offer including classic carnival games. We also brought back the popular “Name the Fish” challenge, where guests guessed the name of the shark in our fish tank and we’re delighted to officially introduce him here! Meet Ray the Shark! Although he is a little bit shy!

Our raffle also returned, and once again we were blown away by the generosity of local businesses who kindly donated a fantastic range of prizes.

Thanks to all this wonderful support, we’re thrilled to share that we raised a grand total of £978.47 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Every ticket purchased, slice of cake enjoyed, and game played helped us contribute to a charity that does so much to support people living with cancer.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, and joined us on the day. Your support makes all the difference, and together we’ve helped raise vital funds for such an important cause.
